Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ

Clare aims to provide accommodation to all first year postgraduate students wherever possible.

Each year, we also provide accommodation to a number of our continuing students.

Postgraduate accommodation is available at St Regis (Chesterton Road), Clare Court (Newnham Road), and Queen Edith’s Way. Some accommodation is available for married/partnered postgraduates in Clare Court. Please bear in mind that there is no parking available at Clare Court or St Regis.

Many of the postgraduate rooms are en-suite and we have a range of options to suit different budgets. Some students opt for self-contained studio flats, while others prefer sharing a house and facilities with others. All of our postgraduates receive an accommodation form before their arrival so that they can select their preferences.

Postgraduates students are not required to live in College and we are happy for students to live elsewhere in Cambridge should they prefer. Many students choose to live in College during their first year(s) in Cambridge and then live out in future years. Living in College can initially help postgraduates settle into the community, make friends, and engage with all the College has to offer. However, a number of Clare postgraduates live privately throughout their degree and remain wholly engaged with the Clare community.
